You, Me and B-Win

damn time flies!

Untitled from brian nguyen on Vimeo.

This was my first time riding with Brian outside of a Hyde Park skatepark event, cant believe this is over a year old now! It was a fun time for sure and even though Brian is now against filming with me because of my generally hungry nature, it just makes this edit even radder to me, and my love for bwin stronger < 3 a/h

TOP NEWS: BMX turns Skateboarding!

When i was growing up, only a few kids liked, wanted, or knew anything about the term, BMX. Even though most kids thought it was cool and an acceptable hobby, today it seems to mean something different to the modern children of the corn. Now i know what your going to think, this kids going to go on and on about the same old shit, which i am, this is a blog. To be honest BMX DOES NOT NEED BLOGS. It doesnt need the kids who buy a new pair of bars every week it needs more people like the person below.

but seriously. Old man winters and the gnar-dogs who rode 10 years ago have something in common, they like bmx riding not because they're hungry for fame, not because they love editing edits but because it looks and (not sure if mr.winters rides) feels rad to do something on a bike. Kids now are more obsessed with what you can do and on what obstacle rather than the individuals actually riding and progressing for themselves and getting stoked with each other. Now progression is a different thing all together and can be looked at a few different ways within bicycle riding. You can have tons of fun never learning a new trick and im still stoked for them aslong as they're out riding for themselves and not making up some shitty excuses for why they "used to do this" because none of that matters. Personally, i dont try or do things im scared of because i want "FAME" or "RECOGNITION", But because i love to ride and i love to get stoked on something just a little bigger and like to feed off of others and feed others. n/h. But really, BMX is whatever you want it to be, an escape, a hobby, a lifestyle, a love and at the end of the day thats what connects us and we should all appreciate the differences and realize what has brought riding to where it is today, the brotherhood and differences brought upon by a simple machine and years of dedication and acceptance to differences of opinions on everything BMX.

this video.

Alongside a few others, to me, represent bike riding so well.. its not about what your doing on your bike its about shredding for yourself and doing what YOU want to do whether it be to luc-e grind a curb or 360 off a roof or do a fufanu under coping.

Trailz & SNaiLZ

GOTTA RIP IT UP, GOTTA RIP IT UP, GOTTTTAAAA RIPPP IT UP!

Been going to the trails a bit past few days, getting ready for the ground to thaw out a bit and dropping off old tires and pallets while generally sulking wondering why winter has to be so cruel. GET IT DONE
